Etihad Guest gives you the opportunity to experience true luxury using your Etihad Guest Miles.
Effective 21 September 2011, all members of the programme can now use their Etihad Guest Miles to upgrade from Pearl Business Class to Diamond First Class!
What’s even better, all tickets issued as of 01 August 2011 in Coral Economy are now eligible for upgrade to Pearl Business Class regardless of the fare class purchased.

Instant upgrades at the airport:
In the event that you have forgotten to check on the upgrade possibility with the Etihad Guest Service Centre you can try and secure an upgrade at check-in. Remember that the Etihad Guest Member whose miles are being used has to be present at the airport.
Instant Upgrades can be processed provided that you have the required number of miles, there is sufficient time before your flight and there’s a seat available.
