Checking-in at Abu Dhabi Airport’s Terminal 1 - your options

1. Web check-in
Be the first to choose your seat and avoid airport queues by checking in online between 24 hours and 2 hours before you fly.
 
2. Check-in at the Check-in at the Abu Dhabi International Airport
Check-in opens 4 hours before the scheduled time of departure.
To ensure a stress-free passage through Departures, ensure you are at the check-in counter at least 90 minutes before your flight departure time and at the departure gate 45 minutes before your flight.
 
Check-in closing times:
• For Coral Economy Class guests, check-in closes 60 minutes prior to departure.
• For our Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class guests, check-in closes 45 minutes prior to departure, except for guests travelling to the US, for whom check-in closes 60 minutes before the flight.
 
3. City check-in
Check in at the city terminals anytime between 24 and 6 hours prior to your flight. By checking in early, you get a chance to choose your seats and you can relax without cumbersome luggage to worry about.
Please note that the city check-in service is currently unavailable to our US-bound guests, guests with reduced mobility, Unaccompanied Minors and guests traveling on staff tickets.

Abu Dhabi City Check-in
Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi - at the Abu Dhabi City Terminal – it’s an easy drive from any part of the city. Open 24 hours of the day and every day of the week, the facility allows you to check in for your flight between 24 and 4 hours before departure.  Leave your baggage at the facility, collect your boarding pass and leave the rest to us. You may use the Terminal’s coach service to the airport for an additional fee.
 
Dubai City Check-in
Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, close to Etihad’s Dubai office, this facility offers free, round-the-clock check-in service: collect your boarding pass and leave the rest to us.
If you are a Coral Economy Guest, we take you to Abu Dhabi International Airport in one of our luxury coaches. Please make sure that you arrive at the Dubai City Check-in at least 3 ½ hours prior to departure to board the coach dedicated to your flight. Diamond First and Pearl Business Guests can avail the services of Etihad Chauffeur.
