• Persons with reduced mobility (PRM’s)
When such guests make a reservation their needs should be noted in Etihad booking as YP (Young Person), UM (Unaccompanied Minor) or PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) and with the appropriate 4 letter code. This will ensure the airport is aware of any guest requiring special needs.
WCHR / WCHS / WCHC / MEDA / UMNR / BLIND and DEAF guests are automatically assisted by the ETIHAD ground staff.

Please note that Meet and Assist Service will not be offered for:

Mother with Infant
Parents travelling alone with more than one infant must arrange for an escort to assist with the second infant. If an escort is not arranged the second Infant must be seated in an approved car type seat and the appropriate Child ticket purchased. See Infants and Children section for further information on the approved car type seats.
Young Guests (YPs)
A young person is a child between the age of 12 and under 15 years of age travelling alone and not accompanied by anyone 16 years and older. Even though a twelve (12) year old child is considered to be an adult, they may not take responsibility for an unaccompanied minor. An ETIHAD Guest Services Agent must ensure Young Guests are treated with the same care, as Un-accompanied minors but do not require UMNR documentation. Unaccompanied minor status can be provided to young persons with little or no experience and at the request of parents / guardians.
Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM)
This category of guest may encompass various mobility restrictions which are normally mentioned at the time of reservation and duly inserted in the appropriate portion of the PNR for station staff attention and action in accordance with the assistance required.
