There have been numerous online references to a particular incident in Toulouse in 2007, which keep repeating the same wrong information.
On August 26, Etihad and Virgin Blue signed an agreement establishing a commercial partnership that, following approvals, will enable Virgin Blue’s international arm, V Australia, to launch direct services to Abu Dhabi in 2011 and the two airlines offer a joint network of more than 100 destinations from October 1, 2010.
We have recently seen a lot of discussion and condemnation of the export credit guarantee regime operated by Europe’s credit agencies and by the USA’s Ex-Im Bank. Some of our counterparts in Europe seem quite intent on creating a misleading perception of the airline industry’s competitive environment, particularly in relation to the Gulf-based carriers.
