Malaysia information

Malaysia is a country in South-East Asia, located partly on a peninsula of the Asian mainland and partly on the northern third of the island of Borneo. West Malaysia shares a border with Thailand, is connected by a causeway and a bridge.

Malaysia is a mix of the modern world and a developing nation. With its investment in the high technology industries and moderate oil wealth, it has become a rich nation in South-East Asia. Malaysia, for most visitors, presents a happy mix: there is high-tech infrastructure and things generally work well and more or less on schedule, but prices remain more reasonable than, say, Singapore. East Malaysia (Borneo) shares borders with Brunei and Indonesia.

Malaysia National History Museum
The National History Museum or Muzium Sejarah Nasional was the second national museum in Malaysia after the National Museum. It was located opposite Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur. As of November 2007 it is closed and the collection has been moved to the National Museum. This building was previously a century-old building. Originally, the building was a small structure built with wood and bricks.

Royal Malaysian Police Museum
The Royal Malaysian Police Museum is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It showcases the history of the Royal Malaysian Police. This museum was established in 1958 at one of the buildings located at the Police Training Centre Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. The building was built with wood and its early materials were only collections of materials used for teaching in the Police Training Centre.
