On flights to Dubai from Dublin you will land at Abu Dhabi Airport, Terminal 3, which is Etihad Airways' elegant and purpose-built terminal, and be transported by bus or limousine (business and first class passengers) to Dubai.

The airport is the gateway to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, and is just an hour's drive from Dubai. On-going redevelopment work at Abu Dhabi airport has significantly enhanced the experience for passengers and has allowed Etihad to increase the number of its flights to Dubai from Dublin in addition to other destinations.

Terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi airport was opened in February 2009, increasing the airport's passenger handling capacity from five to 12 million passengers a year.

The first phase of a Midfield Terminal Complex is due for completion in the next few years and will take the airport's handling capacity to 20 million passengers. Abu Dhabi airport will be capable of handling 40 million passengers by 2030, when the project is completed.
