Niagra Falls
Situated between the international border of New York and Ontario, Niagra Falls is a huge waterfall located on the Niagara River. Niagra Falls was formed when glaciers receded at the end of the last ice age and water from the Great Lakes carved a way through the Niagara Escarpment. The falls are an important source for hydroelectric power and are considered to be the most powerful waterfall in North America. In nearby Skylon Tower is an observation deck that offers the highest overhead views of Niagra Falls.
