Bangladesh information
Bangladesh is located in South Asia and is bordered by India on most sides. It is one of the seven most populated countries in the world with, in excess of, 150 million inhabitants. The earliest remnants of Bangladesh civilisation can be traced back over 4,000 years.
The Bangladesh area is divided up into administrative divisions, seven in total, Rangpur, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chittagong. Each of the divisions are divided into districts and there are approximately 63 districts in Bangladesh. With the majority of districts relying on farming as their main source of revenue internally, there is a very heavy reliance on revenue from exports of fabrics and garments to the rest of the world.
