Earning Etihad Guest Miles
Following a number of changes made to our fare structure, all Etihad Guest members will earn Etihad Guest Miles based on fare class on all flights flown from 01st June 2012.

Mileage Expiry
As of December 31, 2011, the timeline of expiry for Etihad Guest Miles will be associated to a member’s Etihad Guest tier level.

Etihad Guest Miles will continue to expire on the last date of the month in which they were earned. Members can keep a track of the expiry schedule via the latest transactions page as well as our monthly e-statements.

Earning Etihad Tier Miles / Segments While Etihad Guest Miles can be redeemed for rewards, Etihad Guest Tier Miles / Segments only contribute towards your eligibility for either of our premium tiers - Etihad Guest Silver, Etihad Guest Gold and Etihad Guest Gold Elite.
Etihad Guest Tier Miles are earned at a rate of one Tier Mile for every mile you fly with us and any Class Bonus Miles earned also count towards your Etihad Guest Tier.
Etihad Guest Tier Segments are earned at a rate of one Tier Segment for each flight flown in the Coral Economy class, two Tier Segments in the Pearl Business class and three Tier Segments in Diamond First class.
